2:20... Breaking news today that for the first time has provided a direct indication from the Federal Prosecuter, Robert Mueller, that in fact, there was a co-ordinated operation run by the Russian Government to attempt to impact the US Preidential Election in 2016- has been impacting markets starting an hour ago. An indictment of 13 specific Russian Nationals has been handed down. The implication that impacts markets is that this indictment opens the door for further charges against any Americans that may have been involved, if any, though NONE were named in today's indictment.

Meantime, the DJIA is now -5, SPX -1 and COMPQ is -20. Seven of the top ten Momentum issues are lower.

VIX has turned higher and VIX ETFs are sharply higher- by about +5% on average as SVXY is down nearly -3%.

We may add to UVXY towards the end of the session.

Regular Weekly Report MONDAY

12:35... The rally off the lows of last week has continued into the noon period today as the DJIA is +165, SPX +16 and COMPQ +33 at this hour.

Five of ten of the top Momentum issues are higher, five lower. VIX is lower by 8% while VIX ETFs are -2.6% and SVXY is +1.7%.

Trend measures remain just as they were at the earlier recap. TRIN is 1.00.

10:35... Markets are higher in the first hour as the DJIA is +62, SPX +4, COMPQ +16 and breadth is +500/+700. RUT is +0.37%.

Of the top ten Momentum issues, five are higher led by GOOGL at +1.2% and five are lower led by BIIB at -2%.

VIX is bullish -3.7% while VIX ETFs are bearish at +0.15% on average. SVXY is bearish at -0.08%.

HTT remains U/T at 6/1 and STS U/T at 7/0 while the Sentinels remain D/T at 2/5

9:15 AM.... The DJIA is indicated +30 at this 9 AM writing as SPX is +2 and COMPQ is +5. The Russell 2000 is +0.11%.

Of the top ten Momentum issues, five are higher led by PCLN at +2.85% and five are lower led by NFLX at -0.72%.

VIX is lower by 1/2%, but the VIX ETF array are all higher by an average of +3% and SVXY is lower at -1.9%.
